The officer zombie wears a dress military uniform with a leather holster. However, as society breaks down in the event of a zombie apocalypse military standards begin to vary. Some officers, in the absence of senior leadership, begin to do their own thing. They are in charge of their small unit of soldiers without contact or instructions from higher headquarters, so they get to decide what they want to wear. Some do their own thing and some stay with the standard.
